UNIMED'S FIRST AID SERVICES

UniMed provides a range of first aid and health service to events of almost any size or type.

UniMed provides services based on a risk management model. This allows us to work with the client to determine the best possible resourcing to provide the best services. UniMed references a range of national and international service standards. When you choose UniMed as your first aid provider, you get highly trained volunteer first responders and medical professionals equipped with the best equipment.

Our volunteers provide high quality services which will:

  • Ensure patrons receive prompt effective care
  • Help organisers identify and control risks to the health and safety of patrons and staff
  • Reduce discomfort and inconvenience to patrons
  • Help ensure legal compliance with health and safety legislation and standards
  • Help organisers present the appearance of a safe environment for patrons
  • Reduce the risk of public liability litigation against event organisers
Our volunteers are trained to some of the highest standards in Australia. All volunteers are provided with induction training as a standard compent of their training and are required to undertake comprehensive continuing education. Event volunteers are trained to national standards from the Health Training Package. UniMed has a comprehensive clinical support and clinical quality assurance program.

After UniMed has provided services for your event, you will receive a comprehensive report with first aid statistics for your event and feedback from staff on how to make it even safer next time.
