Who is UniMed

UniMed is a dynamic new first aid organisation staffed by young, enthusiastic volunteers.

UniMed was formed in 1998 and has as its core principles community service and volunteer development. Our basic philosophy is that people are the cornerstone of any service organisation, and that by providing a supporting and interesting environment, volunteers will give their best performance.

UniMed has two principal divisions. UniMed Operations is responsible for UniMed's volunteer service programs. Over 70 operations volunteers attend a range of public events to provide first aid and sports medicine services. UniMed Academy is the research and education division of UniMed. UniMed Academy provides public first aid courses, education for volunteers, and undertakes research into first aid related areas.
